Participation rules

1.

The Beau-soir on vacation contest is held by Beaudry & Cadrin inc. It takes place on the Beau-soir Facebook page from September 1st, 2022 08:00:00 AM (ET) until November 2nd, 2022 11:59:00 PM (ET) (the « contest period »).

ELIGIBILITY

The contest is open to anyone 18 years old or over Quebec resident. Excluded are employees, agents and representatives of the contest organizers, any firm, trust or other legal entity controlled by or related to them, their advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers of prizes, materials and of services relations to this competition, as well as immediate family members (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother), their legal or common-law partner and all the people with whom these employees, representatives and agents are domiciled.

Radio via the following radio channels: Rouge FM 107.5 (Québec), Rouge FM 107.3 (Montréal), Rouge FM 94.7 (Mauricie), Rouge FM 102.7 (Estrie), Rouge FM 105.3 (Drummondville), CIEU FM 94.9 et CIEU FM 106.1 (Gaspésie Baie-des-Chaleurs zone), WOW FM 96.5 (Rouyn-Noranda), WOW FM 103.5 (Val-d’Or et Amos), WOW FM 103.9 (La Sarre) and CJRG Radio Gaspésie FM 94.5 (Gaspésie). To participate to the contest from radio, you must follow the next steps :

Watch the short Beau-soir advertisement broadcasted on the different radio channels mentioned above ;

3.2.

Visit the Beau-soir website (beau-soir.com/concours/) to complete the participation form by entering your first name, last name, complete address, city, zip code, email address and phone number, including area code, and answer correctly the mathematical question. Then, you must check the box in which you certify that you are 18 years old or older ;

3.3.

Declare that you have read and understood the contest entry rules by checking the box to this effect in the participation form ;

3.4.

Click on Submit to obtain one (1) entry. A confirmation message will then appear on the screen.

4.

Internet through the Beau-soir website and multiple social media (Spokesperson and Beau-soir)

4.1.

Spot the contest advertisement on the website (beau-soir.com/concours/) or on Beau-soir’s Facebook page;

4.2.

Visit the Beau-soir website (beau-soir.com/concours/) to complete the participation form by entering your first name, last name, complete address, city, zip code, email address and phone number, including area code, and answer correctly the mathematical question. Then, you must check the box in which you certify that you are 18 years old or older ;

4.3.

Declare that you have read and understood the contest entry rules by checking the box to this effect in the participation form ;

4.4.

Click on Submit to obtain one (1) entry. A confirmation message will then appear on the screen.

5.

Promotional displays in Beau-soir stores

5.1.

Spot the contest advertisement in one of our Beau-soir stores (static display, television display, coupons, display at gas pumps) ;

5.2.

Visit the Beau-soir website (beau-soir.com/concours/) to complete the participation form by entering your first name, last name, complete address, city, zip code, email address and phone number, including area code, and answer correctly the mathematical question. Then, you must check the box in which you certify that you are 18 years old or older ;

5.3.

Declare that you have read and understood the contest entry rules by checking the box to this effect in the participation form ;

5.4.

Click on Submit to obtain one (1) entry. A confirmation message will then appear on the screen.

6.

Handwritten letter

6.1.

Spot the contest advertisement trough radio channels, the Beau-soir website, Beau-soir social media, in one of our Beau-soir stores (static display, television display, coupons, display at gas pumps or simply by hearing the contest from others) ;

6.2.

Write a letter of participation to the contest explaining why you want to win the prize and make sure to write your first name, last name, complete address, city, zip code, email address and phone number, including area code. Then, you must check the box in which you certify that you are 18 years old or older. Than, certify that you accept to participate to the contest and so, transmit the data entered in your letter. Then, sign the letter ;

6.3.

Send the letter to the following address : 12225 Metropolitain Boulevard E, Pointe-aux-Trembles, QC HB5R3 to the attention of the marketing department et make sur that your letter is received before the end of the contest that is November 2nd, 2022 11:59:00 PM (ET) in order to obtain one (1) entry.

7.

Limits. Participants must respect the following limits in order not to be disqualified :

Radio, stores, internet, social media and written letter.

7.1.

One (1) entry per person for the contest period.

PRIZE

8.

One (1) prize is offered in total for this contest. The prize is a travel credit valued at 10 000$ coming from Club Voyages Sensö (The prize may differ from the promotional pictures of the contest). The travel credit will be delivered as a gift certificat.The following conditions apply to the prize :

8.1.

The prize is not transferable ;

8.2.

The winner can’t choose between the travel credit valued at 10 000$ or the equivalent amount of money ;

8.3.

Fees of 50$ per adult will be billed from the Club Voyages Sensö company to proceed the travel reservation ;

8.4.

The winner can invite as many guests as he wants but if the amount outruns 10 000$, the winner must pay the difference ;

8.5.

The price includes Cruise, South or Europe packages. This means that the winner will not be able to use the $10,000 to purchase plane tickets only ;

8.6.

There is no expiration date on the gift certificate from Club Voyages Sensö ;

8.7.

The delivery of the gift certificate will be done by Club Voyages Sensö and this, all around Quebec ;

8.8.

One the draw is done, the winner will be supported par the Club Voyages Sensö company from the begging to the end of the planning of the trip and this, without any additional fees from the ones mentioned above ;

8.9.

All communications or questions ;

DRAW

There will be a draw at the end of the contest.

9.

Draw. November 3rd, 2022 at 12:00:00 (ET) at Pointes-aux-Trembles, at the office of those responsible for administrating the contest, a random selection of one (1) eligible entry will be picked from all inscriptions and valid entries for the contest during the contest period. The winner will be announced November 8th, 2022 on the Beau-soir Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BeausoirOfficiel.

10.

Chances to win The chances to be chosen for a prize depend on the total amount of valid registrations for this component during the contest period.

11.

Prize limitsThere is a limit of one (1) prize per person and per residence.

AWARDING OF PRIZES

12.

In order to be announced as the winner, each selected participant must :

12.1.

Be reached by Email or by phone at the sole discretions of the contest organizers between November 3rd, 2022 at 12:00:00 (ET) and November 7th, 2022 at 23:59:59 (ET). In the contingency that a selected participant is reached by Email, he/she must respond to it by complying too the instructions given, if applicable. In the case of an Email notification of a prize followed by a mention indicating that the message could not be delivered, the contest organizers have the full right to disqualify the participant’s registration or to attempt to contact him by phone ;

12.2.

Complete and fill in the declaration and liability waiver form (the declaration form) indicating that the winner has respected all the conditions provided for this rule which will be sent to him by the contest organizers. This form must be returned to the contest organizers in the prescribed manner in order for them to receive it within five (5) days after the participant has received it ;

12.3.

On demand and when the time comes, provide a photo ID.

13.

If one of the conditions above is not respected or the prize not accepted, the selected participant will be disqualified. In this case, the contest organizers may, at their sole discretion cancel the prize or restart a new draw until a selected participant is declared the winner of the prize in the way planned according to the present rules.

TERMES AND CONDITIONS

14.

Disqualification. The contest organizers have the right to disqualify someone or to cancel one or multiple inscriptions if that person tries to participant to the contest by using contrary ways to the present rules or by being unfair towards other participants (for ex. More than one inscriptions, internet hacking, the use of false identities). This person could be handed over to the competent judicial authorities.

15.

How the contest works. Any attempt to willfully damage the contest website and/or any linked site or to sabotage the contest operations constitutes a violation of civil and criminal laws. If such attempts are made, the contest organizers have the right to reject the entrant’s inscriptions and obtain legal redress.

16.

Prize acceptance. The prizes must be accepted as described in these rules and may not be fully or in part transferred to another person, substituted for another prize or be exchanged for money, subject to what is provided for in the following paragraph.

17.

Limitation of liability: use of the prize. By participating to this contest, any participant selected for a prize releases the contest organizers, any company, company, trust or other legal entity controlled by or related to them, their advertising and promotion agencies, and their employees from any liability, agents and representatives (the “recepients”) of any damage that they may undergo as a result of the acceptance or use of its prize.

18.

Limitation of liability. Any participant selected for a prize acknowledges that once the prize is delivered, the obligations related to it become the responsibility of the winner.

19.

Operation of the website. The contest organizers do not guarantee in any way that the contest website or any linked site will be accessible or functional without interruption during the contest period or that it will be free from any errors.

20.

Limitation of liability: operation of the contest. The recipients accept no responsibility for the dysfunction of any internet components, any software or any communication line, for the loss or absence of network communication or for any faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible or erased transmission by any computer or network and which may limit or prevent any person from participating in the contest. The recipients also disclaim any responsibility for any damage or loss that may be caused, directly or indirectly, fully or partly, by the downloading of any Internet page, software or other, and by the transmission of any information aimed to the participation in the contest.

21.

Contest changes. The contest organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, finish, modify or suspend, in whole or in part, this contest in the contingency that there is any unexpected event or any human intervention that may alter or influence the administration, security, impartiality or progress of the contest as provided for in these rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required.

22.

End of participation in the contest. In any contingency that the computer system is not able to record all entries to the contest during the contest period, for any reason whatsoever, or if the participation in the contest should end fully or partly before the end date provided in these rules, the draw may be made, at the discretion of the contest organizers, from the entries duly registered during the duration of the contest or, if applicable, until the date of the contest event that ended participations in the contest.

23.

Price limit. In any case, the contest organizers may not be required to award more prizes or to award a prize other than in accordance with these rules.

24.

Limitation of liability: participation in the contest. y participating or attempting to participate in this contest, any person releases the recipients from any responsibility for any damage that they may undergo as a result of their participation or attempted participation in the contest.

25.

Authorization. By participating in this contest, any participant selected for a prize authorizes the contest organizers and their representatives to use, if required, their name, photograph, image, voice, place of residence and/or statement relating to the prize for advertising purposes, and this, without any form of remuneration.

26.

Communication with participants. No communication will be exchanged with participants within this contest other than in accordance with these rules or at the initiative of the contest organizers.

27.

Personal information. Personal information collected from participants in this contest will only be used for the administration of this contest. No commercial or other communication, unrelated to this contest will be sent to the participant, unless they have otherwise consented within the meaning of applicable laws.

28.

Ownership. Declaration forms are the property of the contest organizers and will not be returned to participants under any circumstances.

29.

Identification of the participant. According to these actual rules, the participant is the person whose name appears on the entry form, and it is to this person that the prize will be awarded if selected and declared the winner.

30.

Contest organizers’ decisions. Any decision made by the contest organizers or their representatives relating to this contest is final and without appeal, subject to any decision of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, concerning any matter within its jurisdiction.

31.

32.

Divisibility of paragraphs. If any paragraph of this rule is declared or found to be illegal, unenforceable or void by a competent court, then that paragraph will be considered void, but all other paragraphs that are not affected will be applied by the limits permitted by law.

33.

Language. In the event that an English version of these rules exists, in and that there is a difference between the French version and the English version, the French version will prevail.

34.

Facebook and Instagram platform. This contest is not administered or sponsored by Facebook or by Instagram. Any questions, complaints or comments regarding the contest should be submitted to the contest organizers and not to Facebook or Instagram. Facebook, Instagram and all of its affiliates, directors, officers, agents and employees are not responsible for any claims arising out of or relating to the conduct of this contest. However, by participating to the contest, any participant agrees to respect by the terms and conditions of use, contracts, other policies and/or guidelines governing the Facebook or Instagram platform and releases the contest organizers, any company, and company from any liability. , trust or other legal entity controlled by or related to, their advertising and promotion agencies, their employees, agents and representatives for any damages that it may suffer as a result of the use of this platform.
